A kick-ass Chicago feminist zine started by my best friend, where I was asked to contribute a story and two spreads. There's no better feeling than being a part of something you wholeheartedly believe in. I believe it shows in my work.
My spread for Unsung Femmes is my favorite thing I've ever made. I wrote a story about how I felt to see women to tear each other down in the press and how it affects the surrounding culture subsequently. Coincidentally enough, I was forced to re-write the story ahead of printing the zine due to the celebrity drama that unfolded upon the release of Taylor Swift's pointed "Bad Blood" video.

My friend, comedian and writer Rachel Luckett, wrote candidly about her experience in a male-dominated facet of the entertainment industry. Before #MeToo was a household phrase, Luckett chose to share what it was like dodging sexist questions on a nightly basis. To place a layout around her delightful words was a huge privilege.
